Fr. Jesus gives his reflections on the Florida Martryrs.  The youth group visited the future Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Martyrs, as part of a pilgrimage around Florida.  Previously, they had been to sites in Gainesville and the Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche in St. Augustine.

The youth group from St. Joseph the Lesser parish in Denver, Colorado came to the future Shrine to learn about the Martyrs, and to pray.  Fr. Jesus opened the event with prayer.


The youth enjoyed the talk given by Vice Postulator Lynn Mangan.


After the talk and a light lunch, Fr. Jesus led a procession to the cross marking the site of the oratory of St. Joseph, where the youth prayed and reflected on all they had learned of the Martyrs.
